Trademark Renewals

Trademarks have to be renewed every ten years from the date of filing. Upon renewal the trademark will be valid for another ten years.

The fee payable for trademark renewal is dependent on the date on which you file for renewal. The details are as follows:

1. Renewal of registration – Made on or 6 months before the date of expiry

2. Late renewal of registration – Made within 6 months after the date of expiry

3. Restoration of registration – Made between 6 to 12 months after the date of expiry
